With two tanks, the team can act as a backup when only one tank cannot train. If you want to play a heavier defensive game while also looking to increase your damage, you might want to try this team combo. Viper's strength has never been a problem.
Losing a role messes up this team's game plan a bit, but being able to rely on C. The team does massive damage to the characters in the front position, while also draining the characters in the back for later use. The reason is that Aton's bleeding effect can synergize with Mayor Cody's dueling effect and Dalsim's huge yoga flame. If Adong is responsible for the start of the super combo, he can eliminate the characters on the field one by one. While Adon doesn't synergize very well with some teams, the role itself is still solid, making him a worthwhile addition to any team.
It's unlikely he'll stick around for long, but if you're a big Ken fan, it's going to be the price you pay. Ken's Flaming Shoryuken super is a great way to start a combo, and because of the damage output potential of the rest of the team, they'll be able to make up for Ken's traps. You won't take much damage, so it's crucial to keep the pressure on the enemy team and keep damaging them. This team is better for someone who absolutely loves Ken and refuses to remove him from their team, is in the early stages of the game, or just wants to try something different. He just felt a little small compared to everyone else. You probably already know how painful it is to outrun Hugo, so if you're willing to sacrifice some offensive power, the big man will happily balance your team. The rest of the fighters aren't as vulnerable as the others, but with Hugo on hand to provide defense, it doesn't matter how vulnerable they are. Viper, Dhalsim, and Mayor Cody will do the damage. Hugo will help you do that, while the excellent C. If you find yourself up against a team that's chipping away at your character's health, your only real option is to hope that the tanks can mitigate the damage long enough to respond. Thanks to the hilarious potato passive of the Final Fight native, he's pretty much the best fire tank you can have. This is especially useful if having a solid tank up front is giving you some grief.
