And she’s pulling no punches, offering her honest, unfettered product reviews in a series of TikToks that have garnered millions of views.Īt first, it was all a bit of a mystery to former Real Housewives of New York star. I would recommend all of them, but the Rimmel one is probably my favourite, and the one I reach for the most. For someone who admits she didn’t “know much about makeup or beauty,” Bethenny Frankel has a lot to say about both. So as a comparison, they are all very similar and achieve the same result to bronze, highlight and bring colour to the face. The blush (pretty Peony) is great too – but use a light hand! The highlight (Oyster Shell) in this palette looks like it would be such a nice white highlighter, but comes out more yellow/gold on your face, which doesn’t look that great on me. The bronzer (Beach Bronze) works well all over the face, as the shimmer is not detectable on your face. And you get so much product! It’s definitely worth the price. Tanya Burr Rosy Flush Cheek Palette (25g):These are pigmented, soft and blend really well. They’re both nice colours for blush and bronzer and blend smoothly. In terms of quality, they’re really good. Firstly, I love the packaging, and the mirror inside is so good. It is only a blush and bronzer, but it says contouring on the front, so I figured I throw this in here. A good cheap alternative.ĮLF Contouring blush and bronzing powder: This is in the shade ‘St. They’re quite soft and buttery and blend nicely, except for the highlight shade, which is chalky and not pigmented at all. It has a matte bronzer and highlight, and an orange-gold blush. I have reviewed another one here.Įssence shape your face contouring palette: This is in the shade ’01-Ready Set Peach’ and is 14g. Unfortunately this is no longer available at Sportsgirl, but they are a great brand for blush and highlights. The pink blush shade also gives a nice pink flush and glow to the skin. The highlight is so amazing in this shade, and is one of my favourite highlighters. The bronzer could be a highlighter for deeper skin tones, or an all over bronze glow. These are so soft and buttery and intensely pigmented. Sportsgirl Contour Kit (20.5g): This isn’t a contour kit in my opinion, but more of highlight duo with a blush. These are all very soft and buttery, and the contour shade could actually be used as a contour, which is good. Maybelline Master Contour Contouring Kit: This is in the shade light to medium and is 10g. The highlight is nice but a bit sheer – this might work if you don’t want a very intense highlight.

The shades are all lovely – in terms of colour and quality. Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette: This is in the shade Coral Glow and is 18.5g.

There are other products that are strictly contour/highlight, but I don’t really own any of these. For this review/comparison, I thought I’d use trios only (with the exception of one, which is a duo), with a ‘contour’ bronzer (I wouldn’t use most of these to actually contour), blush and highlight to be more a fair comparison. I have a few, so I thought I would review and compare them. Contouring has hit the drugstore, with most brands having contour kits and trios.
